Partnership Brief

A recovery-first study tool for ADHD college students

OVR IT helps students move from overwhelm to one clear next move, with a planning experience built for ADHD, not against it.

Why this matters

The problem most planning tools ignore

College students with ADHD do not usually struggle because they do not care. They struggle because everything can feel urgent at once. Starting is hard. Prioritizing is hard. Traditional planners often assume consistency, linear progress, and executive bandwidth students may not have in the moment.

OVR IT was built for that reality.

What OVR IT does

A simple path from overload to action

01

Upload a syllabus

Bring assignments, deadlines, and course expectations into one place.

02

Verify what matters

Students review extracted deadlines and grade weights before saving.

03

Get one clear next move

OVR IT turns a messy workload into one realistic next move, based on available time and what matters most.

04

Semester Heartbeat

Students see deadline pressure across their full term as an EKG waveform — crunch weeks visible before they arrive.

05

BRIO

BRIO. A proactive AI coach that reaches out before deadlines using the student's own academic context, not generic reminders.

06

Co-Focus Rooms

Body doubling — studying alongside others — shown to improve task completion speed and sustained attention in ADHD populations (Ara et al., 2025).

Why students respond

Built for how ADHD students actually work

One clear next move, not 47 tasks

Students get a clear starting point instead of another overwhelming list.

No shame, no streak punishment

OVR IT is designed to support re-entry, not punish inconsistency.

Recovery-first when students fall behind

When plans break, the system helps students reset and restart.

Body doubling built in

Co-Focus Rooms let students work alongside peers — scientifically supported for ADHD (Ara et al., 2025, arXiv preprint).

Mission-partner fit

A practical resource for students, families, and support communities

OVR IT can complement the work of ADHD-focused organizations by giving students a concrete tool for academic follow-through.

Mission alignment

Study for Good

OVR IT donates to CHADD — Children and Adults with ADHD — when students hit academic milestones. Every study session that ends in success also funds the national organization working to support your members. Partnering with OVR IT extends that mission directly.

~3× — ADHD students are more likely to be non-enrolled by year 2 vs. non-ADHD peersDuPaul, Gormley, Anastopoulos et al., 2018 — PMC6586431
  • Chapter or member resource sharing
  • Webinar or workshop collaboration
  • Transition-to-college programming
  • Referral or member access campaigns

The goal is simple: give students something they can actually use when overwhelm hits.

FAQ

Common questions from partner organizations

What does an ADHD organization partnership with OVR IT look like?
Partnerships range from co-marketing and content collaborations to formal program integrations where OVR IT becomes the recommended study tool for an organization's community. We design each partnership around the org's mission and the population they serve — there is no template.
Does OVR IT donate to ADHD causes?
Yes. Through Study for Good (ovrit.app/impact), every milestone a student completes triggers a real micro-donation to CHADD, the largest ADHD advocacy organization in the United States. We can structure similar mechanisms for partner organizations on request.
Is OVR IT clinically validated?
OVR IT is a study planning and execution tool, not a clinical product, and we do not make medical claims. The product design draws on published ADHD executive-function and body-doubling research (cited inline on each feature page), and we are actively pursuing clinical research partnerships with university psychology programs to study academic outcomes.
How can my organization refer members to OVR IT?
We provide partner-specific landing pages, tracked referral links, and co-branded onboarding flows for organizations whose members would benefit from OVR IT. The free tier is operationally useful, so members can evaluate the tool before any paid commitment.
What's the right way to start a partnership conversation?
Email partnerships@ovrit.app with a short note about your organization, who you serve, and the partnership idea you have in mind. Darrell (founder) reads every inbound and typically responds within one business day.
