Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using OVR IT (the "Service"), operated by Synthexis Labs LLC (the OVR IT STUDIO brand), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

OVR IT is an AI-powered study management application designed for college students. The Service includes syllabus scanning, grade tracking and predictions, AI task management, focus timers, study groups, and related tools accessible via ovrit.app.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

The Service offers free and paid tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis.

Paid plans include a free trial period where applicable. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the active billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes, abuse the platform, compromise security, scrape or reverse-engineer the product, or misrepresent identity/affiliation.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of uploaded content. You grant us a limited license to process and store content solely to provide the Service.

7. AI-Generated Content

AI outputs are informational and may be imperfect. Always verify important academic decisions with your institution.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and associated branding, design, and code are owned by Synthexis Labs LLC (the OVR IT STUDIO brand) and protected by intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms. You may delete your account any time.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

12. SMS and Text Messaging

OVR IT offers an optional text-message service, Text Check-ins, for students who choose to enroll. By providing your mobile number and opting in (in the app under Settings, on the Text Check-ins page, or by texting one of our keywords), you consent to receive recurring automated SMS and MMS messages from OVR IT related to your studies, such as activation nudges, study check-ins, reminders, and recovery prompts. Consent to receive these texts is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

• Message frequency varies based on your activity and settings.
• Message and data rates may apply, charged by your mobile carrier.
• Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time, and HELP for help. You can also turn off Text Check-ins in the app.
• Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
