1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using OVR Mission Control (the "Service"), operated by OVR It Studios ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
OVR Mission Control is an AI-powered study management application designed for college students. The Service includes features such as syllabus scanning, grade tracking and predictions, AI task management, focus timers, study squads, and related tools accessible via ovrit.app.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
The Service offers free and paid tiers. Paid subscriptions (Pro and Squad+) are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at hello@ovrit.app if you believe you are entitled to a refund.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose, upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the Service, share your account credentials with others, scrape or reverse-engineer any part of the Service, use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.
6. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service (syllabi, notes, assignments, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display it solely to provide you with the Service. We will not share your academic content with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy (e.g., AI processing by OpenAI).
7. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses AI to generate grade predictions, study recommendations, task breakdowns, and other suggestions. These are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as guaranteed outcomes. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated predictions or recommendations. Always verify important academic information with your institution.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, branding, and original content, is owned by OVR It Studios and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of academic standing, grades, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
