Why we chose CHADD
CHADD — Children and Adults with ADHD — is the largest ADHD nonprofit in the United States. Their college resource directory is the first place parents, counselors, and students go after a diagnosis. Their evidence-based advocacy, professional training programs, and direct support networks have helped millions of families navigate ADHD over four decades.
When we hit our first milestone, the donation goes to CHADD — because their work is directly relevant to every student using this app. No organization has done more to advance ADHD awareness in higher education.
Milestones — what happens when we hit them
Every student’s sessions count toward a single shared total. These are the milestones we’re climbing toward together.
| Milestone | Study Hours Logged | What Happens |
|---|---|---|
| First Light | 10K hrs | $100 donation to CHADD |
| Coaching Fund | 50K hrs | Fund 10 hrs ADHD coaching for underserved students |
| Support Circle | 100K hrs | Sponsor a college ADHD support group for one semester |
| Research Grant | 500K hrs | Fund an ADHD study techniques research study |
How Study for Good works
- 1Study with OVR IT. Log tasks and focus sessions in the app. Every minute of studying you track counts.
- 2Your hours add to a shared community total. It’s not just your own progress — every student’s logged sessions count toward the same number. The more students study, the faster we reach the next milestone.
- 3We hit the milestone. OVR IT donates. We announce it to the community, make the donation to CHADD, and share the receipt publicly. Your studying closes the loop — from app to action.
