FAQ

Straight answers before you commit.

This page is built to remove uncertainty quickly: product scope, integrations, data handling, and how to start with low friction.

Getting Started

What OVR IT is, how pricing starts, and how quickly you can run the core loop.

OVR IT is an ADHD study app for college students who fall behind and freeze. Upload your syllabus, pick your available time window, and get one next move ranked by grade impact — so you can get unstuck and catch up without the shame spiral.
Yes. You can start on Free with core planning and execution workflows. Paid plans exist for students who want deeper intelligence, higher limits, and study group features.
No. The goal is to minimize manual entry. The Syllabus Scanner can extract deadlines and weights from your syllabus PDF, and you can review before saving so the system stays accurate.
Yes. Time-window planning is the default: pick 15/25/45/60+ minutes and the system suggests one realistic task you can finish in that window.

Data, Integrations, and Accuracy

How input quality, integrations, and predictor logic work in practice.

PDF is fully supported, including scanned/image-heavy PDFs with OCR fallback. DOCX is supported in selected upload flows and still being expanded.
Canvas import is available now. Blackboard and D2L are supported through feed/calendar workflows while native integrations are being rolled out.
Grade Predictor uses weighted assignment math from your entered grades and course weights. Accuracy depends on data quality and grading schema, so always verify for high-stakes decisions.
Your account data is scoped to your user ID with row-level access controls. AI features process only what is needed for the workflow, and optional intelligence features can be toggled in settings.

Policy and Semester Operations

What happens across terms and where product boundaries are intentionally clear.

You can archive your completed term, keep historical insights, and upload a new syllabus to start the next semester without losing prior context.
No. OVR IT is a study and planning tool, not medical advice. If you need clinical guidance or accommodations, work with qualified professionals and your campus resources.

AI Features

How the four built-in AI tools work and when they appear.

Smart Study Schedule looks at your courses, deadlines, and energy patterns to build a realistic weekly study plan — automatically. Open the Today tab. After you've logged enough sessions, your Smart Study Schedule will appear with a suggested plan for the week.
Avoidance Radar notices when you keep skipping the same task — and gently calls it out so you can decide to tackle it or park it. It shows up automatically in your Today tab when a task has been pending a while. No shame, just awareness.
Time Lens tracks when you actually focus well and shows your peak productivity windows so you can schedule hard tasks at the right time. Check your Today tab for a Time Lens summary after a few weeks of logging focus sessions.
Energy Shield watches for signs you're heading toward burnout — like declining focus times or missing sessions — and suggests a recovery plan. If it appears in your Today tab, it means the app noticed a pattern worth paying attention to. You can dismiss it or accept the recovery plan.
